I started out measuring the economy. Then I built innovation spaces. Today I study how artificial intelligence changes decisions about work and careers.

Innovation Manager
Senac RJI lead a multidisciplinary team on AI and education projects, with partnerships with companies such as Google, Microsoft and Cisco. I work on projects including Rio do Futuro, Web Summit Rio and Senac Rio Summit, the School of Educators, and education and innovation missions to China, the United States and France. Before that, from 2023 to 2024, I was a senior consultant at the institution.

- 2010–2019
From economics to Casa Firjan
FirjanAs Senior Manager, I led Casa Firjan, an innovation center, from concept to construction, launch and operation, with a team of 70 people. Earlier, I coordinated the Creative Industry Program and worked on studies such as the Firjan Fiscal Management Index and the Mapping of the Creative Industry in Brazil.

Gabriel Pinto is an author and researcher. He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from UNIRIO, a master's in Business Administration from COPPEAD/UFRJ and a bachelor's in Economics from PUC-Rio. He researches explainable artificial intelligence, education, innovation and the future of work, developed EnriCX (Enriched Contextual eXplanations) and wrote Passaporte para o Futuro (2020). He is Innovation Manager at Senac RJ, led the creation of Casa Firjan and co-founded Delorean Talent DataLab. He serves on the advisory board of AI Brasil and is a member of the Brazilian Computer Society.
